Alejandro Guardia, Jr. (b. 1983) is a composer, performer, and educator based in South Florida. A passionate advocate for low brass, he began playing euphonium in 7th grade and later expanded his expertise to trombone and tuba. His music is known for its emotional depth, accessibility, and expressive power—resonating with audiences and performers alike.

Alejandro’s compositions range from solo works to chamber music, with a particular focus on low brass repertoire. His works have been performed at festivals and conferences around the world, and he is widely recognized for his contributions to the marching arts, including collaborations with Drum Corps, WGI Winds, and high school marching bands across the country.

An active educator, Alejandro is a freelance music teacher in South Florida, teaching low brass at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale and working with students at various schools in the region. He frequently partners with local band directors and music programs to support young musicians.

Alejandro is an XO Professional Brass Artist, performing on the XO 1270s Euphonium, and is a member of several professional organizations including Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia (Rho Eta Chapter), ITEA, NAfME, ASCAP, AFM Local 655, and the Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA).
