About Alejandro
Alejandro Guardia, Jr. is a South Florida composer, euphonium artist, and educator whose music brings stories, myths, and human experiences to life through sound. His catalog includes works for concert band, wind ensemble, brass band, soloists, and chamber ensembles, and he has performed at schools, festivals, conferences, and professional events throughout the United States and abroad.
As Principal Euphonium of the Miami Wind Symphony and a member of the Miami Low-Frequency Ensemble, Alejandro maintains an active career as a performer and advocate for new music. He is also a dedicated teacher whose students have earned scholarships and admission to leading university music programs throughout Florida.
